How to ask Sponsed to remove information you have provided, and how to revoke permissions granted to Sponsed by third-party platforms.

How to request deletion of your Sponsed information

Email admin@sponsed.com from the address you used to sign up. Include the subject line “Data Deletion Request”. Sponsed aims to respond to deletion requests within a reasonable timeframe, subject to applicable law and final program terms.

What is deleted on request

Upon a verified deletion request, Sponsed will work to remove the account profile, contact information you provided, and content you uploaded. Some categories of information may be retained where retention is required by law, requested by a regulator, or necessary for legitimate business records (financial / tax / dispute-resolution records), subject to applicable law and final program terms.

Revoking third-party platform permissions you granted to Sponsed

If you have connected a third-party platform account (such as TikTok or an Instagram Professional account via Meta) to your Sponsed account, you can revoke those permissions in two ways:

  • Inside Sponsed: open your account settings and disconnect the platform you wish to revoke. When the Sponsed account dashboard is available post-launch, the disconnect control will appear next to each connected platform.
  • From the platform directly: revoke Sponsed's access on the third-party platform's privacy / connected-apps settings page. For TikTok, see TikTok's Privacy Policy for revocation guidance. For Meta/Instagram, see Meta's connected-apps guidance.

Revoking on the platform stops Sponsed from accessing additional data from that platform. Sponsed will also delete cached data Sponsed previously retrieved, on the same terms as the Sponsed deletion-request process described above.

Verification

To protect the security of your information, Sponsed may take reasonable steps to verify that a deletion request is genuine before acting. Verification may include confirming the request from the email address associated with the account.
